Signal Processing Chair
Congratulations on becoming the new Signal Processing Chair of the IEEE Student Branch at the University of California San Diego!
What to know
Currently, we are focusing on the IEEE Signal Processing Cup (an annual signal processing competition). However, we might do projects in the future.

Competition link: Competition Link: https://signalprocessingsociety.org/community-involvement/signal-processing-cup This is the process that every team member has to do to be able to train models: “Since we are working with large datasets, we will be using NRP, a platform used by many researchers that use large datasets and train models. This is useful as we won’t need to download the datasets to our computer. However, it will require us to work using the terminal and use UNIX commands to edit, move, copy, etc.
If you are using Windows, follow the steps I have provided using the link below. Mac is TBD. https://1618lip.notion.site/Setting-up-the-NRP-9104299b3d0d4c8b9361e795d546e836
I will send another announcement when y’all emails are registered. In the meantime, just read through the docs. ” And if you don’t have VS Code already, I recommend downloading one: https://code.visualstudio.com/download
